To get out of our rut of showcasing items that cost and arm and a leg, how about “Free”? The PBS Video Beta site is phenomenal and it yes it is free. The site includes full episodes of Frontline, Nova and even Academy Award nominated documentaries. And of course, “Antiques Roadshow” does make a cameo. In 1963, at the birth of the Pop Art movement, Andy Warhol decided to paint Elizabeth Taylor on a silver screen. His fame of course grew in the years to follow, but the piece remained privately owned, transferring in 1965 and then in 1986.
