We’ve always thought watchphones were just a bit too dysfunctional or big to be practical, but LG seems to have actually made it work. Runs on a 3G network, has 2 GB of internal memory, voice command and best of all Bluetooth 2.0 so you’re not Dick Tracy-ing it all day into your wrist. Using 90% less energy than a space heater, this machine can increase the temperature 18″ away by 32 degrees, and more importantly – can decrease it by 7 degrees. This means your workspace or bed will forever be exactly the temperature you want, regardless of anyone else’s preferences. For those who are picky about temperature – this is right up your alley. It even purifies the air – and requires no water, has no heating coils etc. We’re not sure what goes on inside – but we don’t need to know. A lifetime of comfort for $280. BUY

While it might be hard to get too excited about a thermostat – this one impresses. 3.5″ touchscreen gives you indoor and outdoor temperatures, the unit links to remote sensors throughout the house that calculate how much heat or cooling is needed to average out the temperature you are looking for. Also gives you 5 day forecast through complimentary 3 year weather service. Programmable up to 4 temperature points per day for each day of the week. Faceplate is even paintable to match the walls.
