So if for some reason you are looking for a bit more anonymity and protection than US banks offer, look no further than neutrality at its best – Swiss Banks. While laws in the past 10 years have required that Swiss Banks report money laundering etc., it is still virtually impossible for anyone except the owner to access a Swiss Account. This applies to lawsuits, probate, etc. You have three very good options. UBS’ Swiss Banking Department ( UBS – The United Bank of Switzerland) offers numbered accounts – where only a select few in the bank know the identity of the account holder. Credit Suisse has a similar program as does Pictet. Usually opening deposit is $100,000 minimum – though named accounts are available for open of around $4,000. UBS/PICTET/CREDIT SUISSE
