If you have any interest in moving to San Francisco, you’ll be happy to know that the ultimate Bachelor Pad is for sale, and best yet – the price was just reduced 30%.  In fact they have shaved a clean $21 million off the original price, so now just find your wallet and see if you have an extra $49,000,000 laying around to make this purchase.  To sweeten the deal consider what this bachelor pad offers: It is a penthouse at the St. Regis in downtown San Francisco with 20,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, 4 half baths, 4 fireplaces, a fitness room, garage space for 6, home theater, library, security system, doorman, massive hot tub, wine cellar, closet the size of a retail clothing store, sun room, sprawling terrace, 22 foot glass walls, and views of ocean, mountains and lakes.  If only they reduced it $21 million a few more times.  You do only live once. $49,000,000 BUY

champagnecellar1Marvel specializes in wine refrigeration, so when they debuted the Champagne cellar, many paid attention.  Wider and deeper racks for champagne sized bottles, along with recessed lighting, stainless steel, and an LED display make this the perfect place to keep some celebratory bubbly on hand.  We know of one gentleman who put this in his dressing room.  Why not?  Auto-defrost, UV-resistant glass, and five glide out racks with the option for continuous lighting truly make this the best.  Don’t go through life without celebrating.  America needs to drink more champagne.  Lead the charge.  $2,150 BUY

Movie Floor LampThe Alcatraz Floor Lamp just looks great.  Like the Vintage Movie Lights we’ve featured before, we’ve got a soft spot for this look.  Put it next to your desk, put it in the corner of your dining room.  Put it in the bathroom.  The Bachelor Pad will shine.  The shade comes in silver or black and the bulbs are actually easy to find.  In fact you can grab a new 250 watt bulb here.  And put a dimmer on the thing.  Very cool and literally thousands of dollars cheaper than all the others we’ve seen.  $320  BUY (Via BLTD)

Say goodbye to that orange carboard box of Baking Soda in the fridge.  Replace it with a solid block of white charcoal (though it looks like gray charcoal to us).  The Kuro Cube will absorb odors wherever you put it.  Even better – it stays active for years.  To “re-actviate” the charcoal all you have to do is leave the block in the sun for an hour.  Then put it back to work.  Simple enough – and no need to buy and replace every few months.  Worth a try at the very least. $45 BUY

FitbitThe future is coming…in fact it will be here just in time for Christmas. The Fitbit is a remarkable device. It tracks your activities throughout the day – a multidirectional pedometer inside has 95-97% accuracy.  It not only measures the intensity and duration of your physical activities, but also calories burned, steps taken, and distance traveled.  But wait – here’s where it gets cool.  It will also track how long it took you to fall asleep, the number of times you woke up throughout the night and how long you were actually asleep vs just lying in bed.  This is done through smal tremors in your wrist based on different stages of sleep. You can then wirelessly sync all this info and track it online.  Wireless and rechargeable.  Diagnose your life.  $99.  BUY

Some of our most popular posts have focused on how to do certain things.  We had:

So where do we go from here?  How to Apply to MI-6?  Tempting, but anyone with an addiction to alcohol or gambling is out – so that probobably cuts out half our readers.  So for now, something much safer.  How to Base Jump Off the Eiffel Tower.  Note – it is illegal without permission from Parisian Authorities… who can be contacted here.  Grab a Racer Accuracy Complete Parachute System here, then probably a good idea to head to the Snake River BASE Academy for four days of training by registering here. Reserve your Eiffel Tower tickets here so you aren’t stuck in line.  And you’re set.  (Parisian Permit Not Included) $5,500  BUY

el casco cigarcutterIn Medeival times, Solingen, Germany was home to the best swordsmiths.  Today, 90% of German blades come from the town and they are some of the finest in the world. Not too far away, in the Basque region of Northern Spain,  is El Casco, a company who went from making revolvers to making individually numbered and manually assembled office supplies during the depression.  So when El Casco wanted to make a desktop Cigar Cutter worthy of it’s name, they chose the finest materials and Solingen blades.  And thus the El Casco Cigar Cutter was born.  A long way to come to cut cigars, but a rich history worthy of what is arguably the best cigar cutter money can buy.  You’ll have to leave this one in your will, because its sticking around.  $140.  BUY

Yes – you can now book your ticket to space.  It’s done.  They’ve done it.  Around 48 hours ago Virgin Galactic unveiled a new spaceship and you can register for a ticket online.  You will go through 3 days of flight preparation before boarding.  It is a sub-orbital trip, meaning you will leave the earth’s atmosphere and gravitational pull behind – to float around and take a look down from the stars.  Flights begin in 2009.  Take a Friday off and on Monday when co-workers tell you they didn’t do much for the weekend…just wait for them to ask you.  $200,000 with a $20,000 deposit.  PURCHASE TICKET
