The Emeco Swivel and Tilt Office Chair was designed with Navy Engineers in the 1940’s and was used on Navy ships – sustaining salty air and taking hits without a scratch. Fortunate for us, it is still being made. Beyond containing fire-retardant foam padding (Navy engineers expected some incoming fire), it features thermal-treated brushed aluminum, and standard tension and height adjustment. Put this at your desk, if you’re looking for something a bit less austere than POTUS’s chair. $895.
