In the early 1800′s the 1st Duke of Wellington asked his shoemaker to make something comfortable that could withstand the elements. And so Wellington boots were born and they’re still just as useful. Hunter was founded in 1856 and has been handmaking these boots from solid natural rubber ever since. Buckle at the mid-calf, just like the originals. Enjoy. $100. BUY

If you happen to need a computer that can be submersed in a bathtub for 1/2 hour, have a car driven over it, or withstand heat of over 200 degrees for extended periods of time, well here it is. The Switchback Ultramobile PC advertises that you can drop it 3 feet onto conrete as many times as you want and nothing will break, and by the looks of it – we think they’re right. Meant for the most extreme weather, these are used by military personell mainly – but who knows maybe you’re planning a trip somewhere similar. If you drop your coffee on this keyboard – you should worry more about the coffee than the computer. $6,300 BUY
