The new James Bond book, The Devil May Care, is out and available cheaply, or – if you’d prefer to see what happens when Bond fanatics go a little overboard, take a peek at the Bentley special edition version of the book. Bond drove a handful of Bentley’s over the years and is behind the wheel of one again in The Devil May Care. Only 300 copies of the book have been made (100 for the U.S.). The publishers met with the design team at Bentley and spared no expense in the details of the special edition. The look is a mix of the original 1950′s Bond novels with the 1950′s Bentley owner’s manuals. The leather binding and stitching is the same used in Bentleys and there is even a steel engine plate inside with the number of the book. And it comes with a little die-cast replica of the original Bond Bentley from Casino Royale. Afraid someone might use this book as a coaster on your coffee table?
